Keneilwe Matidze is an intimacy coordinator and movement coach who has also worked in the South African film and television industry as an actress, casting director and performance coach for almost two decades. She is also a non-practicing admitted attorney whose knowledge and experience in all of these fields makes her a well-rounded, sensitive, empathetic, practical and creative coordinator in the field of intimate content, content containing nudity and content dealing with minors. Her nurturing and protective nature, as well as her ambition to create safe working environments for cast and crew is fueled by her desire to serve the television industry and to make it a space for free and fearless creative expression. Keneilwe trained as an Intimacy Coordinator in 2022 under the Netflix funded IC Training programme created and run by Safe Sets and supported by the National Film and Video Foundation and the Independent Producers Organisation. She received further practical training under the mentorship and guidance of Sara Blecher and Èmil Haarhoff on the set of the Showmax drama series, Adulting in which she assisted in coordinating more than 20 scenes containing intimacy and/or nudity.

Keneilwe continues to grow as an intimacy coordinator and movement coach and remains dedicated to her craft and at the forefront of change and set safety in the South African television and film industry.
